Call Congress Today to Support Health Care Reform

The House is scheduled to vote Wednesday, January 19 on repeal of Health Care Reform.  It is important that your legislator know that there is a lot of support for Health Care Reform.  We want to see them move forward with implementation and do not want to see it repealed or defunded.
Call you legislator toll free at:
The toll-free 800 number:
1-(888)-876-6242

OR send an e-mail by clicking here
Remember:
16 million people with incomes below 133% of the federal poverty level disabilities would lose eligibility to be covered by Medicaid expansion in 2014.
Health Care Reform will eliminate the Medicare Part D drug benefit coverage gap (known as “the donut hole”).   Repealing the ACA will force millions of people to continue to pay absurd out of pocket costs.
Repeal would eliminate the requirement of no cost sharing for preventive services in both Medicare and private insurance.
Over 1.2 million young adultswould lose their insurance coverage through their parents’ health plans.
In addition to increasing the number of uninsured, insurance would become MORE expensive for those continuing to buy it.
AND
The impartial Congressional Budget Office has said that repeal would increase the federal deficit by $230 b. in the next decade alone.
