A free two-part webinar and audio conference on using the Toolkit for Assessing Bus Stop Accessibility and Safety will be held June 17 and 24.Don Kloehn, senior project manager/accessibility specialist, with Tindale-Oliver and Associates will host and provide practical instruction on how to assess bus stops in your community. The course will include information on accessibility features, such as shelter design, lighting, security, pedestrian environment and other elements.Registration deadline: June 10.

ESPA will offer a 3-day course designed for travel trainers who would like to learn basic techniques of training, enhance their own skills and the services of their school or organization.Taught by a team of four veteran leaders in the field of travel training, the popular course includes both classroom and field instruction. Travel trainers will receive a toolkit of useful resources that they may keep. Applicants are encouraged to apply early as space is limited.Registration deadline: June 4.

Cost Allocation for Human Service Agencies that Provide Transportation was presented in collaboration with the National Center on Senior Transportation on April 22, and Effective Strategies for Handling Service Disruptions in Public Transportation was presented by the National Transit Institute in partnership with Project ACTION on April 29.
